spam duplicates and deleting all messages in inbox

Does anyone know how to stop exact duplicates of spam coming into express (I
don't really mind singles even though I'd rather not have them either).
Similarly, if I've only got spam in my inbox how can I 'empty inbox' folder
without highlighting each email and deleting them individually? (I'm using
Norton Anti-spam and even that doesn't allow automatic filtering out or
deletion of duplicates?) Thanks, David, England
