Nope! The server boys are too busy pulling the thread, "Loading XP onto
multiple computers," from the server. Which I've pasted below:

Actually we should clarify this a little more. There is nothing to
prevent a user from installing XP multiple times. However, they
will not be able to activate the install. Because of way that WPA
works there isn't a pre-check at install time. I've had a few people
do the second install only to be faced with the activation failure.
After years of multiple installs on a single OS license, it's sort of
a rude awakening to discover product activation.

For now I just made a rule to delete everything from the applicable domain.
So far it cuts down on the clutter.

I tried to create such a rule, but I guess I didn't do it correctly
because they're all still showing up. Can you kindly tell me the proper
steps to make a rule to not see these stupid things at all. OE6, XP
home.

Thank you very much.

And your unnecessarily reposting something that is already clearly
visible is, to my thinking, just another sort of spam. The original
post most definitely has _not_ been pulled. (I just replied to it, in
fact.) Such unfounded accusations really don't help what little
credibility you have. Look out, Kurt, your paranoia is showing.

I suppose everything Wesley says works. I only did it with one newsgroup
open. If you can't get it to work then respond and will try to give you
break down on what I did.

Thank you. I had done that except with "ExT Bot" or whatever. And I
didn't notice that Apply now did not default to the newsgroup I was in
at the time, so it never applied to that one. I changed it to be as you
suggested and applied to all goups.

Thanks again.

Cynthia,

Glad it worked out.

Apply now defaults to whatever is first on the list. Go figure. ;-)

Bruce, do you realize you have just clearly expressed how some of us feel
about most of the hot air you post in this group?
