ExTSBot Apologies

I have a fully automated tech news site. I have a script that grabs rss
headlines from tech related sites and posts links to them on my sites main
page and in my forum.
I recently added a gateway to usenet that allows forum users to read and
post to usenet. It was added as a convenience for my users that are not
familiar with usenet and newsreader software. The script grabs the latest
posts and posts any replies made to the newsgroups every 40 minutes. I have
2 scheduled tasks setup on the server to automate the process.
There was a quirk in the rss script that caused the problem. When both
scripts ran at the same time, which happened by accident yesterday, the news
for my site went to usenet and usenet new posts went to the news forums. I
have since fixed the problem and it shouldn't happen again.
I apologize to all of you. I know I hate spam and I am sure you do also.
This was an error that I wasn't aware of in one of the scripts and it is now
fixed.
Again sorry for the spam and I assure you it was not my intent to disrupt or
spam the group. This was just a bug in a script which is now fixed.

Bob,

Thanks for the explanation. This kind of stuff happens, and I, for
one, am glad that you found and fixed the problem so quickly. So...
should we remove you from our killfiles now?
