SP4 pack downloads but does not install

I successfully downloaded the 589kb SP4 pack from the
windows update site. However, the install never starts
after the download is complete. It just hangs. I have not
been effected by the blaster worm, yet.

You may want to hold off on installing that service pack.
I installed it last night and now my computer is in an
endless reboot, as is others' if you look on the Windows
Update newsgroup.

You've been blasted. Try a reboot in safe mode, or via commandprompt
shutdown -a after which you should be able to kill the msblast.exe-proces in
Taskmanager. Go to www.sophos.com and get the removal tool. After that
install the ms03-026 patch from Microsoft to prevent you from getting
infected again.
