SP4 Integrated Update

Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 Installation and
Deployment Guide shows a table decribing installation
types and the versions of Windows they support. The table
shows that All windows 2000 versions (doesn't mention
datacenter) DO NOT support integrated installations of SP4.

QUESTION
What exactly does this mean?
Do I have to do a separate post-install of SP4 on all new
Windows 2000 installations?

Thanks,
stevege

In the document: http://www.microsoft.com/Windows200...ows_2000_integrated_with_the_service_pack_rpm
If you look under the heading: Planning Your Deployment
Then follow it down to: Determining Your Deployment Option
And then go to: Integrated installations, you'll see a table there

The verbage above the table says: The following table shows which versions of Windows are and are not supported for each of these two types of installations. Then the table show that ALL versions of 2000 DO NOT support integrated installations of SP4

THIS CAN'T BE RIGHT, CAN IT

I believe that means that if you have Windows 2000 installed (without SP4)
then you can't upgrade using a Windows 2000 with SP4 disk (like if I wanted
to go from Windows 2000 Pro SP1 to Windows 2000 Pro SP4 I can't put in my
SP4 integrated disc and upgrade)
