SP4 causes my PC to constantly reboot

I have the exact same problem and am seeking an answer to
the continuous reboot after SP4 upgrade. I too would
appreciate any info on a successful repair.

Try this - from my earlier post

Workaround until MS resolve the problem
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Mup\DisableDFS set to 1. As a
temporary
workaround, set DisableDFS to 0

With DisbaleDFS set to 0 everything works 100%

That's the problem: Even going into safe mode causes the
PC to reboot.

Someone suggested uninstalling SP4 using the repair
install from a pre-SP4 CD. Does anyone know how to do
that? I got as far as using the Recover Console (Option
#1), but I don't know what to do after that.

Any help would be appreciated. THANKS in advance!!
