SP4 and User.exe

I am having trouble installing SP$ due to the fact the
file "USER.EXE is open or already in use by another
application" is the message I get. I check the task
manager and there is no user.exe file running. I have a
RAID controller running RAID 1 is this my problem? Any
other ideas?

Hi ,

I am also facing the same kind of problem .
Presently i am using windows 2000 server with service pack
2 .when i tried to upgrade service pack version 3 as wel
as 4 i am getting the error c:\ntldr in use by another
application /sharing violation .

Search the knowledge base for this. I was browsing it
earlier as I have a different problem, but I remember
coming across a fix for your problem.Just search the
knowledge base. good luck.
