SP3

I need to remove sp3 and run sp2 due to some software validations at
my job. the problem is the workstation came with sp3 already
installed, it does not appear in add-remove, there is no restore point
and i do not have an $unintall$ folder to run the uninstaller. I've
tried to run a repair with a new sp2 disk, but the box keeps
bluescreenin with a 7B and its a new (2 month old) precision
5400...Just finished talking to MS and got the official word of "No",
but surely to god theres some 3rd party hacker sw that can do this.
Anyone?

You're SOL unless you format & do a clean install of WinXP SP2.

Sorry, but there is no way to install SP3 if it was originally
integrated into Windows XP. You will need to perform a "clean install"
of Windows XP using your older Windows XP disc.

If it came with SP3 installed and the install CD is SP3, then you are
not going to get to SP2.

Rethink the reason you want to remove SP3.
