SP3 Beta

I just saw an Email from PC magazine that Windows XP SP3 is out. Can anyone
comment about it?

SP3 has not come out. There is a SP3 "beta" that
qualified beta testers are debugging. The final, released
version will become available sometime 1st quarter 2008.

The current beta build of SP3 is at 3205 and thus far seems ok. I have
tested it and it's still a bit goofy when installed on machines that
have SP2 and other apps so there's more work to be done on it. On a
fresh install of XP + SP2, SP3 does seem a bit snappier. We can only
hope the final version of SP3 doesn't act nutty.

Mr. Freidman - I saw the same thing at another site, but Microsoft won't let
me download it!
