SP3 and Document Scanning

The last time I installed sp3 it eliminated the document scanning feature in
office 03. Has this been fixed or is it the same sp3?

SP2? not sure what you mean by what build. I download all updates to my xp
pro with office 03 previous to this update.

This is an XP (operating system) newsgroup and not an Office newsgroup so
Thee Chicago Wolf is assuming that when you refer to SP3 you mean service
pack three for XP and not SP3 for Office 2003.

If you are asking about Office 2003 SP3 then you should use an Office
newsgroup.

If you are talking about WinXP SP3 then I am happy to report Office 2003
Document Scanning just scanned a document just fine.

Thanks Jack, I know the update didn't cause problems for what seemed like a
few. I was hoping someone would state that the issue had been addressed but
by the reponses it seems doubtful.

If you are talking about Microsoft Office Image Writer missing then I
suggest you should do "Detect & Repair" from any Office Applications
like Word or Excel. You have to go to: HELP, Detect & Repair from the
Menu bar. It restores any registry entries which may been deleted in
error. I have installed already SP3 on many systems now and I have no
complaints to make!
