SP2 update

Hi,

I am having problem during the SP2 update of my development system.

When update selects database engine update (first item of update), I get
following popup message
" Setup has detected that current SA password is set to blank. Please use
sa_password to set a strong password and restart setup OR set BLANKSAPWD =1
to ignore this vulnerability setup will exit now OK"

any clue what is wrong ?

Jay,

Are you installing SP2 on the top of SP1 database?

Hi KM,

I am trying to install SP2 on SP1, as mentioned in news group link you
provided I wil skip the update of MSDE and only update Tools and database.
Is there any known problem if I skip MSDE update?

My goal is to build SP2 based runtime image.
