SP2 Uninstall Problems

I cannot uninstall SP2. When attempting to do so the uninstall hangs
immediately and goes no further. This is in Safe Mode. Boting under normal
conditions gives me no task bar, nothing. Any help is appreciated.

Did you create any restore points? You can use system restore to restore the
system to the previous state if you created them.
