SP2 sucking my Ram, high PF usage

since installing sp2 my dells being eaten alive,(latitude
D505/512 DDR/40G HD/1.4G intel M)
my pf use to float around 300-800 mb at 40 processes now
my pf is (windows managed) 1.2G-1.9G at 47 processes. I
recon i gotta uninstal SP2 double quick. those any one
know how i can fix this problem?

You should take a look at what processes are running. 40 is a bit high,
let alone 47. My guess is that you have some things going on in the
background that shouldn't be there. Make sure your computer is 100%
virus and spyware-free.

P.S. You shouldn’t have more than 21-27 processes running with all apps
closed (after restart).

that depends on the number of programs installed, I always have lots of
utility programs that run in the background, So to me it is normal to have
more than 35 processes
 
Hey u guys thanks for ya help i'm gonna do what ya said,
gotta a feeling its that damn aol mudda Fcker messing
with my baby damn and that kazza i had to uninstal. at
the mo i got norton 2004 pro and adware 6 do the door
service on my machine but i recon the spys where in their
before i installed the bouncers.
