SP2 shutdown problem

After successfully downloading SP2 I find my computer
hangs indefinately at the "Windows is shutting down"
screen. Any suggestions?
 
It is probably trying to shut something down. Maybe even somethng trying to
access a drive unit, like an anti-virus. You might use task manager to turn
off programs before you shut down.

Any messages in the Event Viewer?
