SP2 Service Pack Install Error Message

Setup cannot copy the file branches.inf

Ensure that the location specified below is correct, or change it and insert
'Windows XP Service Pack 2 Source Files' in the drive you specify.

c:\windows\softwaredistribution\download\6ca7b3a8efd5a9b6f87fff395a2eb989\update
 
Hi Jim,

Do a search for branches.inf (hidden file) and removing the
read-only attribute.
Rerun SP2 setup.
