just updated XP Pro to SP2. Immediately I started having errors which
all referred to SHDOCVW.dll. "AXWIN Frame Window: cfgwiz.exe - Ordinal
not found" "The ordinal 233 could not be located in the dynamic link
library SHDOCVW.dll" I tried to uninstall and reinstall NAV 2003 to no
avail. Any ideas here for a solution? I couldn't find any reference to
this problem on the Symantec site.
TIA,
-cadjak

It's been posted that doing a Symantec Norton Antivirus Live Update installs files that
make the program SP2 compatible.

I can't run live update, or start, the Norton configwiz.exe
(configuration wizard) in any way. I keep getting an error message
referring to ordinal 233 in SHDOCVW.dll.

I was able to run Liveupdate but I'm still getting the same error
message whenever I try to open the program, either by the system tray
icon, or from the program menu. If I try to do a manual scan of a
file, by right clicking on the file, I get an empty window with no way
of shutting it down besides through the task manager.

It gets deeper and deeper. Now I have found that I can't print from IE
(version 6.0.2900.2180) I get the message:
"an error has occured in the script on this page"
"URL: res:// \WINDOWS\system3\shdoclc.dll/preview.dlg"

....Another problem with an SHDOC(x).dll. BTW 2900 is the version
number of SHDOCVW.dll for SP2 and version 2180 is the version number
of the DLL in SP1.

I fixed the problem. I ordered the SP2 update CD from Microsoft. Using
the CD, I re-ran the update and the problems disappeared. Previously,
re-running the update from the downloaded SP2 file had NOT improved
the problem.
