SP2 Not Showing Up In AU

Hey,

I've been trying all day on my Windows XP Professional
machine and SP2 will not show up under AU. I did not run
the script which temporarily disables the delivery of the
update, and had no issues downloading SP1 when it was
released.

No matter what settings I have under Automatic Update,
the file will not show up for download and it's totally
beyond me why not. Anyone have any ideas?

I do have a Dell Inpspiron 9100.....but after visiting
Dell's site I see no special "Dell" release of the SP so
AU looks like my only option.

There will not be any special release of a Service Pack since the only
source is Microsoft.

Jupiter,

The first thing that caught my eye was "Not all
computers, just a limited number a day." Guess I just
have to wait until my key becomes active to get
it....thanks.

Adding onto my previous message, my friend who purchased
his laptop after me just downloaded it today for XP
Pro...the system of enabling the download seems to be
making very little sense imo but I guess if all else
fails I'll wait for it to be released on CD.

I do not know how it is determined which computer gets SP-2 when from
Automatic Update.
It seems pure random to me.

#1 on this link I gave has a few options for getting a CD.
Additionally I have heard Staples has them.
You could call Staples and other retailers to see if they have the CD.
