SP2 & Internet connection

I have installed and uninstalled SP2 three times. I connect to the internet
with dial up. With SP2 I stop recieving bytes at about 1200, so I uninstall
SP2. I am not a comp whiz by far, but I tried to disable the firewall just to
see if that helped, it did'nt. Anyone have this problem out there?

You need to upgrade to high speed internet access.

Thank you for your response. I have the CD for SP2 wich make installation
faster. I have no problems with the internet without SP2. When I load it I
would not even be able to access this page to get help.

You are seeing some trouble with your modem driver. Have you tried removing
it and let windows install it again?

Go to Start/Run, and type DEVMGMT.MSC , highlight the device, Action menu,
"Uninstall", then restart Windows, to find the device drivers again
automatically.
