SP2 Installation Errors

I am trying to install Service Pack 2. I just reformatted and re-installed
Windows XP Home. Everytime I try to install SP2, I get a bunch of errors.

The installation works until it starts trying to backup the files in
c:\Windows\System32\dllcache. At this point it will randomly start throwing
errors saying that it can not find specific files in that directory. I say
randomly because I have tried intalling 3 times and each time it has
problems with different files. I have looked in the directory and the files
are there, so I don't know why it can not find them. Is there a way around
this? Is it possible that there is something else wrong (i.e. hard drive
failing or something)?

Thanks,
Wade

...are you running the install from an account that has administrator
privileges?

Yes, I only have one account, and so it has admin privileges. That is the
account I am working from.

Wade.
