SP2 install error

I have tried installing SP2 onto XP home from the disc i ordered from MS.
It extracts ok then errors up with the following error:

Setup Error:
The system can not find the file specified

Then it closes the install.

I have also tried copying the contents of the disk to the drive and then
installing from there - still get the same error.


Any response much appreciated.

Tried this and chatted with Ronan - Very Very helpful. it was a persistent
problem but he sorted it!!
