SP2 Instal question

Hello,

I am trying to put SP2 on my winxp home box. I downloaded the file,
unpacked it and it started the install. When it got to the fist or second
part where it analyzes hardware and searches for drivers it appears to just
hang. I left it run for 2 hours last night and never moved off of that
spot. How can i get past that point? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Mike

Remove all peripherals apart from the mouse, keyboard and monitor to see the
install will continue then.
