I tried: my computer..C..newfolder..and entering

%ALLUSERSPROFILE%Application DataMicrosoft

Still got error 80070003

You can't enter what you have posted above, you need this exactly:

"%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft"


If you run the above from Start/Run, does it open a folder?

If it does, do you see a sub folder with the name "Network" there?

If not, create it, using File\New --> Folder and then enter Network
