sp2 eats up c partition space

Before I installed SP2 I had 20 per cent free space in my C partition;
now I have nine per cent. Is this an issue? If it is, any advice would
be appreciated. TIA

I have my page file on another partition.

Also, I did a Ghost backup before installing SP2 so I was able to delete
the 400MB uninstall folder in windows (my backout plan was a 10 min Ghost
restore vs an iffy and long uninstall which would result in a questionable
system.)
I currently have 2.6gb used and 1.5gb free (all ready for SP3! ;o)

I keep any files/programs I can on a different partition - Open office, OE
folder, all my various newsreaders, etc
