SP2 Crash Randomly with Intel Raid 0 Configuration

I have recently upgrade 3 computers at home to SP2. My Workstation:
Asus P4P800 with Intel Raid 0 Configuration constantly crash after upgrade
to SP2. I have two WD740 hook up using Intel Raid 0. the crash would happen
randomly and not application specific. What lead me to believe its the Intel
Raid VS SP2 is that the system would have enter a disk read or write.. the HD
activity light up and then system would stop responding after that.. and the
HD Activity Light stay light up..... until system was cold boot. Ie.. I
would be in the middle of burning a disc, or surfing internet orjust plain
Screen saver...

I am reverse back to SP1 until someone can resolve my issue. Luckly I have
a Disk Image that I prep before upgrade to SP2.

Check for driver and IAAR updates from Asus and Intel and flash the latest
mobo BIOS.

Thanks for your help. Problem resolved...

One of the setting in the Asus MOBO BIOS when flashed...

It option of make the SATA or PATA or both Native support. As it turn out....

I had SATA +PATA with Native support. Somehow, wither MOBO or XP did not
like it and crash randomly.

Now I just have SATA as NATIVE.. and system was stable again.
