SP2 causes problems with my network connection

Hi,

after installing SP2 I observe problems with my network connection. My PC is
connected to a ZyXEL ZyAIR B2000 v2 router. All works fine before SP2. Now it
seems that Windows doesn't get a nameserver address from the router. There
are two DNS addresses if I look at the connection details but they come
definitely not from the router. They must be some kind of "fallback"
addresses.

When I disable the connection and enable it again then Windows gets the
correct DNS address.

I've ZonealArm installed and the Windows Firewall disabled. The problem
occurs also on a machine without ZoneAlarm and the Windows Firewall enabled.

Did anybody else discover this problem?

So long ...

Torsten,

no such problems here and haven't heard of them either. Perhaps
it is a specific incompatibility between your router and SP2?
Check the router's settings anyway, to be sure it isn't just set
up wrongly.
