After installing SP2, the calculator is gone.

I searched for "calc.exe"
Per an earlier post from the MVP, I looked in /\system32\
but could not find it.

Any ideas?

Reinstall it...

To do this
Goto Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs
Then goto Add/Remove Windows Components
Then goto Accessories and Utilities, Accessories

If Calculator is not checked, check it, and then accept the changes

If Calculator is checked, uncheck it then accept the changes
Then repeat the steps to install it.

If you can't find calc.exe in C:/windows/system32
you will have to install it from your xp CD.

Thanks. Got it.

Unfortunately, when it ran the Accessories and Utilities
from the CD, it did not give me the option of selecting
individual components, so I got a dozen games I didn't
need, but oh well.

Thanks for the help,
Bruce

You shouldn't be running from the CD.

Goto Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs
Then goto Add/Remove Windows Components
Then goto Accessories and Utilities, Accessories (not games)

Calculator will be your very first item in this category.
