SP2 boot problems

Downloaded SP2-now the computer won't even boot up. Keep
getting message: ...apologize for the
inconvenience...windows did not start...
Then it give options to start in safe mode, sfae mode
with networking, safe mode with command prompt, last know
conig, or windows normally-none of them start the
machine!!
Please help

One possible answer is a conflict with your plug'n'play
settings. I had a similar problem and solved it by using
the boot disk and then maually changing settings with the
help of Microsoft Helpdesk. Worked a treat and took 10
minutes.
