SP2 boot prob

Hello

Just wondering if anyone here is having problems with SP2 I keep getting
boot up faults ....the comp boots up to a blank screen with just the mouse
cursor (no right click or icons) have to press restart button and often go
to safe mode
and scandisk to fix...also had a strange prob where zone alarm firewall and
other programs dont start at start up, when I try to start manually PC hangs
and often after restart I get the above prob (blank screen)

Random faults are HARDWARE problems. Blank/black screen symptoms from my
experience indicate a hard drive fault.

Thanks but, I had no probs untill i installed SP-2 so Im sure its not
hardware

After I installed SP2 a few days ago I haven't been able
to boot my pc up at all. It just reboots itself over and
over again. I don't even get to the main startup window.
I tried to boot in safe mode and it does the same thing.
It keeps rebooting itself. Can anyone help me. I just
want to remove SP2 from my pc.

If SP2 is giving you trouble then i suggest you uninstall it (which can be
done though Safe Mode) and wait a few months before installing it again.
