Where in the Windows Firewall can you set anti-virus
monitoring? I am running NORTON AV......

After you install sp2 there is a security center icon in
control panel. Click on it.

Q: Why does the Windows Security Center say that the status of my
Norton security product is "unknown."
A: Your Norton security products contain tamper protection features
that prevent malicious code from determining their status. This tamper
protection also prevents the Windows Security Center from determining the
status of your Norton security products. Shortly after Microsoft releases
Service Pack 2, Symantec will make a correction available through
LiveUpdate. This correction will allow the Windows Security Center to
correctly identify the status of your Norton security products.

HTH.

Address altered. Replace nkbob with bobkn.

At this time Norton has upgrade (via Live Update) for NAV 2004 but I haven't
seen it for NAV 2003 or before yet.

Some versions of Norton AV haven't been updated yet to interface with
the Security Center so it can see the AV. It knows it's there but
reports it doesn't know if it's working. Norton is coming out with
patches. They have for some of the versions already. It should update
through live update.
