SP1

When I install the sp1 update my computer starts freezing
up abou every 15 min. The only way I can fix the problem
is to reinstall XP and not update. Any suggestions on how
to remedie this.

Be sure your drivers and applications are up to date. I believe CD burning
applications needed updating for SP1 among others.

BJ, you got a whopper on your line. Check your system
resources. SP1 will refuse to load if low. It is very
important you get SP1 up because of the myriad of updates
you need that will follow.
