Click the Start button and in the Search box type: 'winver' (without the
quotes) When the About Windows pane opens you should see the following:
Version 6.0 (Build 6001: Service Pack 1). The service pack should be
available to the general public around mid-march.

Since it hasn't yet been released, it has *not* been installed by
Windows update.

It is expected sometime within the next couple of weeks or so. After
it's released, you will be able to see it that it's there by holding
down the Windows key and pressing Pause/Break.
