Anyone who has a computer that came from Gateway with the Vista
preinstalled can get a new VistaSP1 restore cd. The disk is free but it
costs $20. for shipping and handling. You contact them at their website. Go
to customer services and with a couple of emails you will be sent the new
disk in about a week . All you need is computer serial number where
purchased and payment info.I have a E Machine comp and I think it's a good
thing to have. Thanks for reading

Couldn't find any info on site. Whats the procedure to obtain disc?

Sorry if I didn"t explain too well. I have a Emachine so first I went there
to customer service and asked for the cd' They then sent me to gateway .
When you email them they should send you the link at gateway. You have to
start with the manufacturer of your computer. I hope I am explaining this
right, I am new to this. Hope this helps
