SP1 install process stalled

SP1 install process appears stalled with the following display:

Installing Service Pack: Stage 3 of 3 - 0% complete.
Do not turn off your computer.

The above display has continued for over one hour. The installation was
initiated from a downloaded SP1 setup file.

Any suggestion is appreciated.

The problem has been resolved. Cause of the problem appeared to be that
the installation was initiated from DVD where the stand alone SP1 is
saved. The SP1 setup file was copied to a hard drive and installation
was successfully done from it.
