Anybody noticed any earth shattering changes after installing SP3?

A few months back...
I tried the pre-release version and noticed a nice performance boost on my
AMD-2200
I uninstalled it and am going to install sp3 as soon as it's become official

A little bit faster performance. But what do you expect from a service
pack?

Build 5512 is the announced final. It went up on Major Geeks yesterday but
you might as well wait for it to show up on Windows Update and Microsoft
Downloads on the 29th.

Does it remove my address toolbar?
If so, I will wait the 2 years.
Or just wait until final release notes to know.

Nothing major in terms of changes other than being a bit snappier.

I downloaded it from MSDN today. I installed it on my machine but I can't
tell any difference.

Thanks, looks the same as I last read.
Yeh! no mention of removing the toolbar.

Where does it display "SP-2"? Does SP3 appear in the list in Add/Remove
Programs? It is the bottommost item in my list.

You have to scroll down to April 23.

Howdy,

I don't quite know how I screwed this up, but would
appreciate the link to the download on Major Geeks. I looked
but did not spot it.

Many thanks,

Amazing, huh?

Yea considering that it was released to Technet and MSDN on that day.
