SourceSafe Access Problems

Am hoping someone may be able to help. We are currently trying to access SourceSafe with no luck. Our two previous developers had accounts on sourcesafe and unfortunately have now left and will not provide us with their passwords. We need their password(s) purely to set up two new accounts, test these and then move the old accounts elsewhere. We are all scratching our heads and are unsure about what to do. We think that an admin account may have been set up by another 'long departed' developer but cannot access this either. Unfortunately we have inherited this situation and our development is being severely hampered until we can find a way of accessing SourceSafe and setting up some new accounts.
