Source Control Q?

2 developers, 1 CF project, have Source Safe 6.0d set up and working for project
What is best way to use Source through IDE (Work Disconnected??) Can somebody explain how "Work Disconnected" controls what is checked in and out. and how does it resync itself.

You definitely should not work disconnected. That would defeat the point of
using source control. Both developers should work connected. Check out
files you need and check them in when you don't.
