I have a toshiba laptop satellite 5005 s504. I am unable
to hear the music being played. I have tried everything I
know to correct the problem. Any ideas.

R.click the speaker next to the clock,select,open
volume control,options,properties,make sure its in
playback setting,and/or the chk box is clear not in
mute setting.You can also go to run,typeXDIAG
Run direct X utility,chk the sound tests,sometimes the
sound problems are of the simplist areas unchecked,like
speakers the arent plugged in.Chk device mgr for info.
