went I'm working on my computer and player music from the Internet and went
I go to open a file. the music starts skiping and playing very low. Does
this mean that some is wrong with with my sound card. Please help.

No, there's nothing wrong with your card, it just means that there is
insufficient ram in the system for the tasks you are performing to go
smoothly.

I have 512MG of ram do I need to add more ram.

Hi,

Not at that level you shouldn't unless you are doing some serious graphics
editing or autocad. You might examine the background processes, and also
check that the system is set to concentrate on programs rather than
background processes (control panel/system/advanced/performance
settings/advanced tab).
