sound reinstall everytime

Hi,

Everytime system restarts, the following error pops-up:

"There are no mixer devices avalible, got to control
panel, click printers and other hardware and then click
add hardware."

Upon doing so I was promted with a selection between two
selections one is "Yes I have already connected the
hardware." and the other is " No I have not added hardware
yet."

*****I have reinstalled and updated audio drivers, did
BIOS update.

I am using pavilion notebook pc ze4430us which has
Conexant Audio card.

Any suggestions??????

Call HP tech support. It sounds like the problem resides in their
hardware and/or software, not XP.
