I use windows XP and PPT 2002. I want to add sound (music) to certain
slides. Now I have the following problem:
It only plays music right of the CD. If I copy the CD to my harddisk, it
will not play with the slides (but does so with media player).

Please help.
Richard

If it's a commercial audio CD you can't just copy it to your hard drive.
You'll need to use some "ripping" software. Use google.com to look for
ripping software, ripper, etc.

You may have LINKED to the sound files in the presentation rather than imbedded them. (Neither good nor bad, either way has it's benefits/drawbacks.) If you did, PPT is looking for the file on the CD instead of their new location. Fix is to go back and re-target the audio links to the proper location.
