When I turned my computer on this morning, I found that it would not play
sounds normally. ITunes says there is a problem with my audio configuration,
but I haven't changed anything recently. When I try to play audio files,
nothing happens. Sounds from other programs aren't played either. However,
I keep getting this annoying beeping noise whenever I do certain things, like
pressing the delete key in Word when there is no text. This beeping is
always at the same volume no matter what I set the computer volume at, and is
not affected when I plug headphones into the computer. Does anyone have any
idea what's wrong?
