Sound Problems in C&C 3

I just installed the new Command and Conquer and the sound is all crackly and
almost sounds like it's going in slow-mo. Everything else runs fine. I had
the same problem with Half-Life 2 after upgrading to Vista, but I fixed it by
turning off Vertical Sync. There is no option to turn off VSync in C&C
though. I have a GeForce 7800 GTX and a Sound Blaster 24-bit sound card.

I have the same Problem in World of Warcraft

I have a Pavilion dv9287cl notebook running dual core processors 2gb RAM
nVidia GeForce Go 7600 256mb dedicated

Fixing it in WoW is the same - at least for me - turn off VSYNC in the video
options... cured all sorts of weird things in the sound.

See if you can force v-sync off in all applications via your Graphics
Control application, it will be somewhere on your nVidia controls that
forces v-sync off. Should sort it.
