Sound flutters

When I attempt to play iTunes, my music comes out in awkward, stilted bursts of sound. When I choose the visual option on iTunes, the images are also inconsistent
I have tried uninstalling and REinstalling iTunes; however, this had no effect on the problem
It occurs even while I am not running any other systems
Any suggestions

HI, You need to contact Apple for support with their software.
