If you insert a wav file you can link that file to a picture (drag the sound
icon off to the side.
To do that insert your picture
Go the the sound animation setting (Slide Show > Custom Animation - click on
the sound animation in the animation Task Pane)
In the Sound animation drop down menu, select Timing
Click on the Triggers button and browse to find the picture or other image
you've inserted. Now the audio should play when you click on that picture.
Newbie "lurker" here. Trying to learn.
I thought I'd try to add sound to a photo using this method. (or any other
for that matter) Picture insert went fine,
Slide Show >>> Custom Animation went fine.
However, I can't find "sound animation" can you direct me?
Using PP 2003
Thanks Ken
Geez - I really didn't describe that correctly. When you're looking at your
animation task pane and you see the list of items that you have "animated" in
your slide, one of the items will be the sound. You click on that for your
drop-down menu. It sounds like you were able to do what you wanted - despite
my poor choice of words...
