Sound effects

After upgrading from Office 2000 to 2003, I find that Excel is playing sound
effects twice. Particularly I notice this when maximizing, minimizing or
restoring the Excel window. This seems to be the only application affected.
Is there any way to fix this odd behaviour?

Sorry.

I saw another post on Microsoft in reference to a particular game product
where this was happening. The recommended solution was to download and
install the latest copy of the driver for your sound card.
