sound does not play automatically in web page folder

Thanks for the answer!!!
It's not that I want another sound, playing in the background over all slides.
My comments for each slide, would show as a speaker and would
only play if I click on them. In PP itself it works fine, not showing the
speaker and
starting the play as soon as the slide comes up.

Anyways the wav files are too long. Do you know a tool that would support
mp3 files?

PowerPoint supports mp3 files. Clicking the speaker after you publish your
presentation to a web page turns on the sound and clicking it again turns it
off.
