Sound card recommendation

I've recently bought a set of Logitech Z-2300 2.1 speakers for my pc
and was wondering whether it would be worth upgrading my sound card to
improve sound quality even further. My current sound card is a Creative
Soundblaster Audigy (not sure of an exact model name though). Would
upgrading to a card less than £60 produce a noticeable improvement?

Probably not with those speakers. I'm using an external USB Sound
Blaster Live through slightly better 2.1 speakers and it sounds
fine. I suppose you can test by using high-quality
headphones/earbuds.
