sound buffering

As an amateur,I am experincing a problem with Flight Sim
2002 pro.since I have recently updated to XP,and the
sound card memory increased,I cannot get air traffic
sound messages,the sound card error says: Sound card
does not support hardware buffering,sounds will only
playback from software: what does all this mean? anyone
any ideas regards aga

Have you contacted the manufacturer of your sound card
for updated drivers? You might be missing some. Check
them out at their website for free downloads.

You should also go to the game mftr.'s website and download any
necessary patches - there may be some needed to run the game under
WinXP.
