I would appreciate recommended sites - paid and free - for sound mids and
clip art - if you have any favorites. I stumbled onto a couple only to find
that the site was more intent on installing adware/spyware than their paltry
offering of wares.

Thanks!

a couple of years ago I bought some sound clips from www.sounddogs.com but I
haven't been back there in a while.
what are you doing anyway? you might want to check out a flash forum for
this since flash tends to make more use of sounds than "regular" web stuff.

I've got a high school website and I'd like to add some small wav. or midi
sounds when a couple of pages open up. The kids will be accessing the site
primarily from school - which is cable - so speed is not a factor.

Where do I find the "flash" forums? I'm using msnews.microsoft.com - typed
in 'flash' and didn't see anything.

Thanks,
Greg

you won't find it there. ;-)
I'm sure there are tons. do a google search or visit macromedia's site to
find some.
I'm not actually recommending their stuff it's just that flash developers
use sounds a lot more often and they'd probably have posted a lot of stuff
regarding "sound repositories" etc.
