Sorting

I have a worksheet with 3 columns. I want to sort by: Column B, then
C, then A. When I click sort, the message I get says: This operation
requires the merged cells to be identically sized. I have formatted
the cells, rows, etc. to be the same, and I still get this message.
What do I do?
 
Betty,

Select all your cells, do a format and make sure that the merged cells check
box is empty, not checked or grey. If that doesn't work, then insert a new
worksheet and copy your cells and paste values into the new sheet.
